I surround myself with people who are passionate about film making, story telling and harnessing communal creativity.

This project will be important to you if any of these are true:

• You think Northern Ontario artists have incredible talent and need more opportunities to collaborate and share their skills.
• You believe that any movie genre, especially zombie horror that hits a raw visceral nerve, can also carry important political messages.
• You like zombie movies, stories about real-life issues and realistic horror.
• You believe that we need to do more to address the concerns of Canada's First Nations, Metis and Inuit people.

WHAT WE NEED MONEY FOR

THE IMPACT

Here's what we will use your hard-earned money for:

• The transportation and accommodation of our volunteer cast and crew.
• The rental of camera, lighting, sound and other equipment.
• The purchase of gore effects, makeup and prosthetics for our zombie hoard
• Other incidentals.  Anyone who has ever worked on an independent film knows there are always unforeseen expenses!

Not only are you helping me to achieve my bucket list dream of seeing my own idea up on the big screen, you will:

• Help share an important message: that Canada's First Nations people have been on the crap-end of the treaty arrangement for too long and that they must be idle no more and stand up, in positive ways, in their communities and demand change.
• Show your support for Northern Ontario's growing film making industry and for independent film projects and the opportunities it provides for people of all commitments, ages and backgrounds.

RISKS AND CHALLENGES

This is my directorial debut and there is always the risk that the project will fail, but that being said, those who know me, know that I am sleepless and work hard to achieve my goals.  

As a father of five, a teacher with the Rainbow District School, Board, a highly visible member of the community and a former municipal councillor for the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers, my credibility is important to me.  Who am I?
