Scare people. Have fun. Get your Hallowe'en on!ZOMBIES AND MAD-MAX STYLE POST-APOCALYPSE SURVIVORS NEEDEDWHAT DO YOU NEED?
We need people willing to be part of a large outdoor scene that features Mad Max-style/Deathrace-style post-apocalyptic survivors AND the zombie hoard they have trained and keep as pets. Any age, any body type, any gender. HOW MUCH AM I PAID?
This is a fundraiser to raise money to build a community splash pad for the children of Massey. So, unfortunately, we cannot pay anything. You're doing this to have fun, scare people, and get some experience. WHERE IS MASSEY?
Massey is part of the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers and is approximately 1-1.5 hours west of Sudbury on the TransCanada Highway 17. We will be set up behind the Massey Fairgrounds on Imperial Street North. DO I HAVE TO ATTEND ALL FOUR DAYS?
Nope. It would be grand if you did but we understand you're busy and it's a trip for some. There are two motels, some resorts, and Chutes Provincial Park, which will still be open for the season if you want to stay the night. WHEN?
The Massey Haunted Trail is open from 6pm-10pm Friday October 18th Saturday October 19th Friday October 25th Saturday October 26th Devil's Night Wednesday October 30th Actors need to be in costumer and ready for a 5:30 dress rehearsal. Small children walk the Haunted Trail from 6pm-7pm and the scare theatrics are toned down for that hour. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You will work with our director, Jayson Stewart, to come up with an appropriate costume and makeup and props. Some makeup can be provided. Dress for the weather. It's outdoor at night in October. ZOMBIES will come with old clothes they can tear apart and distress. If you have makeup, bring it. If you have prosthetics, put 'em on. If you have crazy contact lenses, wear them. Your clothes will NOT be rewearable after tonight. Blood will be provided. SURVIVORS will create a costume that looks like they are trying to survive a post-apocalyptic wasteland. You have done violence. You have gone mad with the chaos of the world. NO COLOUR. LOTS OF GRIME AND DIRT. Blacks, greys, browns, camo, leather, lots of buckles. Think 80s heavy metal band member meets biker meets diesel punk meets wrestler meets homeless person. Here are some ideas: |
